Sixes and Sevens is a British idiom meaning to be in a state of confusion or disarray. I’ve felt this kind  of frenzy when overwhelmed by powerful music.

This record shop is inspired by1960’s Mod Culture. Fashion and music were the focal point of this subculture and I wanted to reference those aesthetics when creating this brand. The black and white color palette and geometric pattern allude to that style. In addition, I kept coming back to the power of music and how it connects human beings to each other. I kept thinking of the childhood game connect the dots, or constellations in the sky, and how we as humans have an inclination to visually draw those lines to connect one thing to another. I developed my pattern with that concept in mind.
