BRANDING FINLAND

Finish people are very connected to nature and during the long summers they spend as much time as possible outdoors. Spending time in nature is considered part of a healthy lifestyle in Finland. The country itself is staggeringly beautiful and as a brand, I wanted to highlight the importance of nature and the calm effect it has on people. Even in the dead of winter when it is dark 24 hours a day you can see the northern lights above the misty snowy hills glow with beauty.

For this brand, I explored imagery that highlights Finland's rolling hills, mystical foggy climate and their thousands of lakes. The blue color palette evokes calmness. The texture used throughout the visual theme references the unpolished imperfection of rural life that is so authentic.
