My client asked for wedding invitations inspired by aspects of both Art Deco and Art Nouveau. She was particularly drawn moody color palettes, repeat patterns and the "opium den" feel. After gaining inspiration from research, I designed a motif and theme that echoed the vibe she wanted, but with subjects I had not seen in this kind of artwork, such as the moth motif, and my own stylization of dandelions and poppies. All artwork is hand drawn.
